Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you.
Not much has changed with Dad. He continues to be very weak. We have all been with Dad today. He responds to each of us, but is not able to stay awake very long. He knows we are with him and thanks us for being there. We are taking one day at a time and trusting Jesus with tomorrow. Our hearts ache seeing Dad like this, but it is well with our soul.

In August of 2008, Dad was diagnosed with a condition called amyloidosis. In short, the body is producing abnormal proteins. This condition is treatable, but as with all chronic diseases, it can be accompanied by various complications and "bumps in the road". We will use this site to keep you updated on our medical journey as we learn more about this condition. "Everyone who is a child of God conquers the world. My heart is heavy with tears for all of you as you journey down this dark road. I know God is in control at all times. Our pastor once said something that has sustained me through many difficult times "God is a God of mystery, but He is never a God of mistakes" Isaiah 40:11 is a great comfort also. Love, A. brenda
